NOTICE TO ALL SNOWLINE RESIDENTS: ZIPLY FIBER UPDATES & BILLING CREDITS

Date: January 6, 2026
Subject: Progress on Fiber Optic Installation and Available Service Credits

The Board is pleased to provide an update regarding our ongoing efforts to upgrade Snowline’s internet infrastructure and resolve long-standing service issues with Ziply Fiber.

  1. Infrastructure Progress

We are currently in active communication with Ziply’s engineering and project management teams. Real progress is being made toward tapping Snowline into a modern fiber optic network.

  • On-Site Evaluation: A special thanks to Rick Read for meeting Ziply technicians on-site recently to grant access to our control and patch panel rooms for technical evaluation.
  • Next Steps: We are holding Ziply accountable for past unfulfilled claims and ensuring that new installations do not interfere with our fire control monitoring systems.
  1. Resident Billing Credits

Due to the “archaic” state of our current system and Ziply’s failure to provide timely updates while working near our building, the Board has negotiated a compensation offer for all residents.

Ziply customer service has agreed to offer billing credits (1-2 months potentially ranging from $90 to $180) to Snowline owners as compensation for these service shortcomings.

How to claim your credit:

  1. Call the main Ziply Customer Service line.
  2. Ask specifically to speak with Supervisor Kay.
  3. Identify yourself as a Snowline resident.

Note: You may experience long hold times, but Supervisor Kay has indicated she is expecting calls from our residents and will issue credits “no questions asked.”

  1. Stay Informed

We will continue to provide updates via email and the community website as the engineering project moves forward. Thank you for your continued patience as we push to live in modern times.
